Abstract

Risk prevention approaches on activities, functions, or processes are fundamental to minimize harmful events in companies. This paper proposes a methodological design for risk prevention in production processes, combining statistical quality tools and the ISO 31000 standard. The validation was performed in a dairy product packaging process, showing that the design is adaptable to any manufacturing process, improving quality and productivity.
