Abstract

The main objective of the study was to estimate the solar mean global solar radiation monthly and annual, using extreme temperatures, applying the Bristow-Campbell model to the 19 meteorological stations of the Junín Region. The results indicated that in the Sierra, the average values were 6 kWh/m²/day, and in the Jungle, 4 kWh/m²/day, both values being profitable for solar energy applications such as heat, cold, and electricity production.
