Abstract

This document describes the Fe3O4 magnetite nanoparticles process synthesis via papaya peel extract
by a simple and ecological reaction. For the synthesis, is verified the amount of glucose present in the
shells since this carbohydrate is indispensable as a reducing agent in the reaction, the method is make for
three different samples that are evaluated by infrared microscopy FTIR and compared with a commercial
sample, in the other hand by SEM was possible see if the size and morphology corresponding to the
expected results; subsequent the azo dyes degradation give positive results for the bright blue E-133 dye
showing the transparency in the medium and is checked quantitatively through of UV-Vis spectroscopy.
