Abstract

The research proposes to establish a methodology for managing implementation projects of management systems based on the high-level structure (HLS) of ISO standards related to management system requirements applicable to organizations or businesses of any size, type, and sector or in ventures, considering the best practices and foundations in project management according to the PMBOK Guide. The proposal is the result of case studies and documentary analysis of business practices in the implementation of management systems, and in project management for process and business management improvement, its partial application for 15 years in at least 12 production and service organizations, as well as the use of a set of techniques and tools that support the scientific foundation of the methodology.
