Implementation of a three-phase electric energy analyzer using Adaline networks and Rogowski coils with integrator circuit

In this work, a Three-Phase Electric Energy Analyzer was designed and implemented based on the application of the Adaline Network to decompose the phase voltages and currents into their harmonics. For the sensing of the voltages, small power transformers and circuits with Operational Amplifiers were used. For the sensing of the currents, Rogowski coils were used, in addition to a subsequent stage with a signal conditioning circuit that performs the double function of amplification-integration and requires careful adjustment of the components so as not to distort the sensed signal. The signals are processed by a low-cost AtMega 328P microcontroller, optimizing the resources in the programming of the Adaline network. Finally, the performance of the proposed analyzer was tested in a measurement performed on an industrial panel of three accessible conductors, and its values were compared with those of a Fluke 375 clamp meter. The results show the correct operation of the analyzer and the precision and accuracy of the measurements of RMS values of voltages and currents and their harmonics.
