Business process management technologies adoption: a systematic literature review

The Business Process Management (BPM) implementation represents a complex task that involves multidisciplinary factors. This paper unifies perspectives on BPM adoption using systematic mapping and review methods. Both academic and business sources are analyzed to characterize the most used BPM systems, invariant phases of the BPM cycle, common elements of a BPM solution, modeling languages, and service-oriented architectures.
