Abstract

Maritime traffic of crude oil and derivatives remains highly relevant, both geostrategically and in terms of volume shipped. This research gathers, analyzes, and classifies crude oil and derivative traffic models, highlighting innovations introduced in the field. Using operations research techniques, the study aims to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs. Scientific studies from the past 70 years are reviewed, showcasing successive improvements and the removal of initial constraints.
