Abstract

Semat (Software Engineering Method and Theory) is an initiative developed to refound software engineering by defining a theoretical basis, best practices, and a set of widely-agreed elements. ISO/IEC 25000 (System and Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation-SQuaRE) is an international standard for evaluating software product quality. This paper proposes selecting the appropriate measures of the software system alpha states, validating them using a case study, and developing a model for product quality measurement.
