Interaction with the interest groups (MSMEs) through the technical extensionism service

This article presents the results of the project "Technological extension services to improve the quality and productivity of micro and small manufacturing enterprises (MSMEs) in Lima and Callao." The project was executed by the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of UNMSM and funded by INNOVATE PERU. A technological extensionism model was developed and validated, applied to 52 MSMEs, achieving successful results in improving their production systems. The main achievements include the standardization of procedures, establishment of strategic alliances, and creation of an extensionism office at the university.
